Travel . Viajar . Disfrutar .

I know that there are more experienced travelers out there (wink: Europeans) - and I have so much yet to see -- but I have really savored each country I have been too and I am not money rich, so my travels have always been very low budget.

Most of my travel experience has been around Central America and parts of South America as well as New Zealand and South Africa. Each trip has been 100% by foot (meaning, I have never rented a car and just walked and used buses). Hostel life, workaway type stuff, y mas.

Not everything is fun, glamorous, safe, or friendly. I can talk about the real stuff too. Just ask. I think I have been through it all.

Despite the difficulties, I have met some of the most unforgettable people during my travels. My life changed for the better when I moved to Costa Rica in 2020.

There really is a magic that happens when you travel. Sometimes I feel like I am time traveling or living in a movie. Sleeping on the floor becomes enjoyable when you're surrounded by the best people. The struggle is worth it.

If you are not a budget traveler, and you have experience solo traveling, I still think that you may seek similar things and may visit the same places as us backpack freaks. Also, good for you for having the option to rent a comfortable suite / transportation. I also think that the most important thing about visiting the country is learning the culture, respecting the culture, and making connections. Regardless of how much $ you have.
